1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-14604)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error in the FPGA kernel driver. A local user can cause a denial of service condition on the target system.


2) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-14603)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper permissions in the installer. A local user can enable escalation of privilege on the target system.
