Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-1582)
The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated attacker to perform denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when rekeying the current client interactive session. A remote authenticated administrator can trigger memory corruption and crash the affected device.
2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-1581)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation when processing messages. A remote non-authenticated attacker can send specially crafted message to the device and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
3) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-1580)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within sshd service. A remote non-authenticated attacker can send specially crafted packets to the sshd service, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
