Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-8563)
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of objects in memory by DirectX. A local attacker can run a specially crafted application and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
2) Privilege escalation (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-8561)
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of objects in memory by DirectX. A local attacker can run a specially crafted application and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
3) Privilege escalation (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-8554)
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the target system.
