1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-11468)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to heap-based buffer over-read in the __mkd_trim_line function in mkdio.c in libmarkdown.a. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service via a specially crafted file.


2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-11503)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in The isfootnote function in markdown.c in libmarkdown.a in DISCOUNT 2.2.3a. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read) via a crafted file, as demonstrated by mkd2html.


3) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-11504)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in The islist function in markdown.c in libmarkdown.a in DISCOUNT 2.2.3a. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read) via a crafted file, as demonstrated by mkd2html.


4) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-12495)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to heap-based buffer over-read in the quoteblock function in markdown.c in libmarkdown.a. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service via a specially crafted file.
