1) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-6836)
The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.The weakness exists in the netmonrec_comment_destroy function due to boundary error when using the netmonrec_comment_destroy function as defined in the wiretap/netmon.c source code file. A remote attacker can cause the service to crash.
