This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-18211)

The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists in the saveBinaryCLProgram function due to a NULL pointer dereference. A remote attacker can trigger a memory error and cause the service to crash.

2) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-18210)

The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause DoS condition no the target system.

The weakness exists in the BenchmarkOpenCLDevices function due to a NULL pointer dereference. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, cause a memory allocation condition and cause the service to crash.
