1) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-8630)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when processing office files. A remote unauthenticated attacker can create a specially crafted Office file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

2) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-8631)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when processing Excel files. A remote unauthenticated attacker can create a specially crafted Excel file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system with privileges of the current user.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

3) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-8632)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when processing Excel files. A remote unauthenticated attacker can create a specially crafted Excel file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system with privileges of the current user.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

4) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-8744)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when processing Office files. A remote unauthenticated attacker can create a specially crafted Office file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system with privileges of the current user.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

5) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-8567)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when processing Excel files. A remote unauthenticated attacker can create a specially crafted Excel file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system with privileges of the current user.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
