1) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-8593)

The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to boundary error in Win32k.sys driver. A local user can execute arbitrary code on vulnerable system with elevated privileges.



2) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-8666)

The vulnerability allows a local user to obtain potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when handling objects in memory in Win32k.sys driver. A local user can gain access to potentially sensitive information.
