Description
This security bulletin contains information about 1 security vulnerability.
1) Integer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-5898)
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.The weakness exists in the emulated_apdu_from_guest function in usb/dev-smartcard-reader.c due to integer overflow when built with the CCID Card device emulator support. A local attacker can cause the service to crash via a large Application Protocol Data Units (APDU) unit
