1) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-3853)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The weakness exists due to stack-based buffer overflow in the Data-in-Motion (DMo) process. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted packets that are forwarded to the DMo process for evaluation, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code with privileges of the current user.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in arbitrary code execution.
