Description
This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Privilege escalation (CVE-ID: CVE-2016-7182)
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the target system.The weakness exists due to boundary error in the Microsoft Windows kernel-mode driver (Win32k). By running a malicious program on the affected system attackers can execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in a complete system compromise.
2) Arbitrary code execution (CVE-ID: CVE-2016-3393)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.The weakness exists due to boundary error in the Graphics Device Interface (GDI) component. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted Web site, trick the victim into visiting it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code with privileges of the current user.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in arbitrary code execution on the vulnerable system.

3) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2016-3396)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.The weakness exists due to boundary error in the Graphics Device Interface (GDI) component. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted content containing embedded fonts, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code with privileges of the current user.

4) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2016-3209)
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.The weakness exists due to boundary error in the Graphics Device Interface (GDI) component. A local attacker can execute a specially crafted program on the affected system, get information about system memory state, bypass Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) and conduct further attacks.
