Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Denial of service (CVE-ID: CVE-2014-5019)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to cause denial of service.The weakness exists due to unsufficient checking of HTTP headers. Attackers can send specially crafted HTTP header that may make the site unavailable and cause the target service deny.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may lead to denial of service on the target system.
2) Access bypass (CVE-ID: CVE-2014-5020)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information.The weakness exists due to attaching of specially crafted files to the content. Unsufficient checking of attached files by File module expose acess to personal user's data.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2014-5021)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability is caused by incorrect filtration of input data. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in victim’s browser in security context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
4) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2014-5022)
